Having joined the firm as a school leaver in 2011, Alfie has built his career at Barnes Roffe, progressing through the AAT qualification route before qualifying as an ACA accountant in 2016. He was promoted to Audit Manager in 2017 and became an Audit Director in 2025.

Today, Alfie advises a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses with turnovers ranging from £1m to £200m. Alongside delivering audit and assurance services, he provides practical advice on FCA compliance, management reporting, VAT and statutory requirements, helping clients navigate challenges. He works closely with clients to understand their businesses and support them in achieving their commercial and financial objectives.

Outside of work, Alfie enjoys spending time with his young son and travelling with his family. He is also passionate about supporting and mentoring junior members of the team, having progressed through the Barnes Roffe ranks himself.
