At Barnes Roffe, we have created teams to provide such non-audit services to companies which use other audit firms for their audit. Indeed, as a sizeable mid-tier firm, we often provide valuable alternative services to such companies. For example, in the case of say their corporation tax or the preparation of statutory financial statements our alternative service would run alongside, or perhaps ahead of their audit. This approach often brings additional efficiencies to their audit process whilst ensuring that the auditor maintains their independence and avoids any conflict of interest.

In recent years, we have also seen large companies that may not be part of these rules opting to use different advisors for both audit and non-audit services, given the perceived independence and conflict of interest issues in the market and a changing industry landscape.

Our specialist teams help PIE, AIM, OEPI and other large businesses with their non-audit services and often provide a “one-stop-shop” for such clients including payroll, tax compliance, general business and financial advisory, valuation and the preparation of statutory accounts amongst many others.
