Our training scheme for school leavers gives fast access to credible training whilst offering hands on experience and professional qualifications can be achieved in as little as three years.
Our team
Tracing back to our roots in 1899, Barnes Roffe has evolved from a commitment to provide our clients with a lasting partnership that is mutually beneficial.
Opening his doors for the first time on 1st August 1899, William H. Barnes set the foundations for our firm which to this day is dedicated towards going the extra mile for our clients – a family like culture which has been passed on and diligently followed by a team of professional individuals who collectively strive towards the same objective of doing more for our clients.
In 2025, Barnes Roffe joined the Dains Group to further strengthen its offering to clients. With over 1,000 professionals serving a diverse client base of more than 20,000 clients, the Group deliver an exceptional client-centric service in an ever-changing marketplace.
Dains is a Top 30 firm with four key regional hubs in the Midlands, Scotland, Ireland, and the South East. Dains is growing rapidly into a national firm with a culture that is strongly aligned with Barnes Roffe. The Group aim to become a Top 20 accountancy and advisory firm by the end of 2025.

Graduate accountant training scheme
Our graduate accountant training scheme, open to around 15
graduates a year, is designed to give immediate access to
excellent learning opportunities and allows them to focus
on what’s important – their studies, whilst at the same
time offering invaluable hands on work and client experience.
Along with a good number of graduates who have gone on to become our partners of today, we have also helped hundreds of graduates across the UK, who have since gone on to build successful careers and businesses of their own.
